New Students' Application

MGC New Life Christian Academy accepts students regardless of race, nationality, or creed. Students are accepted based on the results of the entrance assessment. Academic and behavioral standing in former school (if applicable) and/or an interview with students and parents are also considered.

Once admitted and enrolled, students must submit to the program, academic and disciplinary regulations and all other requirements instituted by the Administration.

The school is currently a candidate for the IB Primary Years Programme (Pre-Nursery to Grade 6) as well as accredited internationally by the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI).

• Early Years Programme (EY): Pre-Nursery, Nursery, Kindergarten
  The entrance test  will be a readiness assessment. The school accepts students for Pre-Nursery to Kindergarten levels without prior schooling but must pass the one-on-one assessment of readiness to be administered by an EY teacher.
  
  

• For Primary Years and High School Programs, the students must have completed the level preceding the grade level they are applying for and must pass a written assessment to be administered by the Guidance Center. 

• Incoming Grade 1:  
  The entrance examination will cover the subjects of English, Mathematics, and Chinese.

• Incoming Grade 2 - 10
  The entrance examination will cover the subjects of English, Mathematics, Filipino, and Chinese.

• Incoming Grade 11
  The entrance examination will cover the subjects of English, Mathematics, Filipino, and Science.

1. The application period will start on October 16, 2023, and end on January 13, 2024. 

Links will be active solely during this time frame. 

2. Fill out the online application form and upload the digital copies of documentary requirements. 

Incomplete requirements will not be processed.

3. You will receive an email regarding the payment of the non-refundable and non-transferable application fee of Php 1,000.00 once we have finished evaluating your requirements.

4. Send your proof of payment with reference number to admissions@mgcnewlife.edu.ph and cashier@mgcnewlife.edu.ph with the subject:
    Application Fee_Last Name, First Name (ex. Application Fee_dela Cruz, John)

5. The schedule for the applicants' assessment will be sent to the email you provided in the Google Form.

6. The list of successful student applicants will be posted on the school website.

7. The admission letter will be issued to the successful applicant, who will then have 7 working days to pay the refundable and non-transferable reservation fee of Php 20,000.00. Please send the proof of payment with reference number to admissions@mgcnewlife.edu.ph and cashier@mgcnewlife.edu.ph with subject: 

Reservation Fee_Last Name, First Name (ex. Reservation Fee_dela Cruz, John)

8. Submit original physical copies of the required documents to the Registrar's Office. 

Filipino Citizens

1. Original Birth Certificate  (PSA-issued)

2. Child’s Chinese Name in Chinese Characters (ENCODED FORMAT) 

3. Application Forms (see below)

4. Additional requirements for Grades 1 - 11:

   • Certificate of Enrollment with Learner Reference Number

   • Scanned and certified true copy of previous year’s Progress Report Card in English and Chinese academics

   • Recommendation forms to be filled by the: 

     1. Current homeroom teacher / adviser

     2. Guidance Counselor / Supervisor ( if no guidance counselor)
        *The child's current school must email these forms directly to admissions@mgcnewlife.edu.ph

Foreign Citizens

1. Original Birth Certificate (Government-issued with official English translation)

2. Alien Certificate of Registration (ACR) / Immigration Records

3. Child’s Chinese Name in Chinese Characters (ENCODED FORMAT)

5. Additional requirements for Grades 1 - 11:

   • Certificate of Enrollment from the current school with official English translation

   • Scanned and certified true copy of previous year’s Progress Report Card with official English translation
